Summary

A private owned park is looking for an individual who provides services for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and general upkeep of the park, including landscaped areas, artwork, livestock areas, and related facilities. This service includes hands-on outdoor work, basic repair tasks, routine livestock care for chickens, ducks and fish and hands-on support for events and activities on the property and in the facilities.

Forklift Operator/Material Handler

A growing company is looking for Forklift Operator/Material Handler to join its team in Flushing, New York. The primary responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• • Instruct truck into to proper loading dock
  • Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming materials.
  • Label, sort, and organize every incoming raw material and place them accordingly.
  • Unload raw materials from the delivery trucks using handling equipment or a forklift.
  • Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
  • Deliver different items and materials to proper departments and production lines.
  • Operates overhead crane, tier lift truck or uses hand pallet jack/hand-truck to move, convey, or hoist aluminum materials from receiving platform to the inventory storage or work area of each production line.
  • Keep all material storage areas clean
  • Responsible for maintaining work tools and equipment such as fork-lift
  • Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent degree
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experiences in operating Forklift and/or overhead crane.
• Able to work for Full-Time working schedule
• Able to lift and move up to 100 lbs. objects

Salary:

• Gross hourly rate: $18.90 per hour

Warehouse Helper

A growing company is looking for Warehouse Helper to join its team in Flushing, New York. The primary responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Locate, retrieve and proper handle and load Finished Goods into 53′ trailers, pup trailers and/or box trucks for shipment to the customers.
• Understand how to read BOLs and Sales Order details and make sure all products are loaded accurately and secured properly following our Loading SOP.
• Organize products and accessories and arrange finished goods to a specific location in the warehouse based on the quantity of sales orders.
• Categorize finished goods in single line areas for small orders and arrange products which are for large orders to another order section
• Receive picking tickets, gather finished goods, use scanner gun to scan labels to update the status of products in the system and return picking tickets to sales department
• Give merchandise to customers after reviewing packing lists
• Count inventory for finished goods as needed in warehouse
• Report defects and any damaged products along with computer system malfunction to Warehouse Supervisor
• Clean work areas daily
• Follow Safety guidelines and procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or related role
• Basic math capability
• General knowledge of Microsoft system
• Able to read and communicate in English
• Detail oriented
• Able to work for Full-Time working schedule
• Able to lift and move up to 100 lbs. objects

Salary:
