Seamstress/Sewing Machine Operator for Drapery Workroom
– Operate sewing machines and other equipment to fabricate efficiently.
– Construct, alter, and repair window treatments based on design specifications.
– Collaborate with designers and team members to understand project requirements.
– Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available.
– Inspect finished products for quality assurance, making necessary adjustments as needed.
– Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
– Proficiency in drapery construction techniques, including cutting, sewing, and finishing.
– Experience working in a production environment is beneficial.
– Strong ability to operate various types of sewing machines effectively.
– Attention to detail with a keen eye for fabric quality and drapery aesthetics.
– Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines.
– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.

Estamos buscando un(a) Asistente de Lavandería responsable y enfocado(a) en el servicio al cliente para apoyar tanto a clientes minoristas como a operaciones de lavandería comercial. La persona ideal debe ser educada, trabajadora, capaz de estar de pie por largos períodos, dispuesta a aprender y entender que el servicio al cliente es siempre la prioridad.

Responsabilidades
• Brindar un servicio amable, respetuoso y profesional a todos los clientes
• Ayudar a los clientes con las máquinas, preguntas y necesidades generales
• Lavar, secar, doblar y empacar ropa para clientes minoristas y comerciales
• Separar la ropa por color, tipo de tela e instrucciones de cuidado
• Operar lavadoras, secadoras y equipos de doblado de forma segura y eficiente
• Usar computadoras y tabletas para revisar órdenes, imprimir recibos y actualizar sistemas (entrenamiento incluido)
• Comunicarse claramente con clientes y compañeros de trabajo
• Mantener la lavandería limpia, organizada y presentable en todo momento
• Limpiar máquinas, trampas de pelusa, áreas de trabajo y baños según sea asignado
• Seguir los procedimientos y estándares de calidad de la empresa
• Reportar cualquier problema de máquinas o inquietud de clientes a la gerencia

• Debe poder estar de pie por períodos prolongados
• Debe poder levantar y mover bolsas de ropa según sea necesario
• El inglés es útil pero no obligatorio
• Disposición y capacidad para aprender sistemas básicos de computadora
